ParTing Time Mission Statement:
Welcome to ParTing Time, a site for original slash fiction!
The name of the site is derived from the fact that the main 'ship is a crossover. Voyager/Enterprise, to be specific.
First off, there are two main 'ships to this site:
The primary one is Paris/Tucker. Most of this will be based on the "Mistaken Fate" series.
The secondary 'ship is a Voyager 'ship, Torres/Kes.
Since both of these are, as far as I know, new to the 'net, I don't expect many people will take to them too quickly.
ParTing Time will be mainly a P/T crossover site. There are two seperate archives: P/T, and T/K.
Neither of these 'ships are meant to poke fun at Paris/Torres or Torres/Kim. I've written fics for both of these before, and have made this a site solely for serious stories. The Lightning Voyager team (two of the other three of them reluctantly) have agreed to help with this site, and we may post a parody story later, based on the two 'ships we've selected, with a dash of J/7.
Let me make this perfectly clear, if it isn't already: This is a slash site. This is a fanfic for Star Trek site. If either of these offend you, leave now.
All stories are clearly marked and rated, none exceeding 14A (since I'm not really into the trouble NC-17 ones would cause) and all slash.
So, enter, if you dare!

More on T/K:
T/K (Torres/Kes) is based partially out of the episode "Caretaker," but mostly out of an unconventional idea.
This would happen to be the unconventional idea, which is being spun as the "Mistaken Fate" series.
The Mistaken Fate series is based on a what-if quite a bit bigger than most: What if Fate made mistakes? What if, while monitoring the timelines, Fate accidentally switched two people in similar positions, thereby causing a total dimensional upset.
In Mistaken Fate, the first story, we see a situation that is pretty much like the early C&P reaction: I hate you, you hate me, and I hope it'll stay that way.
What ends up happening is a series of disasters. These disasters are precisely timed by Fate herself, who has to knock Paris into a coma in order to be able to talk to him. Fate needs to get the okay from one person in the future part of the timeline before restoring it, and, as far as she knew, they hated each other.
Much to her chagrin, Paris hesitated upon first hearing the situation. When she explained the possible timeline, he refused to cooperate, telling her that if he remembered, which he would, he would mess up her 'perfect' timeline by committing suicide. When Fate checked the projections, she realized that this was, in fact, supposed to run true for that dimension. She therefore leaves Paris with his timeline, and a little unsettling knowledge.
The T/K pairing comes in the next story. Like Paris, Torres has a crush on a blonde who knows of her and little else. Encouraged by their success at finally admitting their true feelings for each other, Paris and Tucker rig an ingenious plot to get Torres and Kes together. It backfires, and the two matchmakees are forced to spend two days trapped in a damp cave with each other. Just before they are finally rescued, it's confession time: the same situation which happened with Paris and Tucker happened with these two. As they board the rescue shuttle, acting just like you'd expect of a new couple, Paris and Tucker can only shrug in confusion.
There are various other things: prophecies, Borg, etc., but that's the How They Got Together spoiler speech.
